BJP Intensifies Protest Against CM Siddaramaiah, Police Detain Leaders Near Residence
Bengaluru: Following the rejection of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s petition in the Karnataka High Court challenging the Governor’s prosecution in connection with the MUDA scam, demands for his resignation have intensified. BJP leaders and workers, who have been protesting across the state demanding Siddaramaiah’s resignation, attempted to gherao the Chief Minister’s residence in Bengaluru on Wednesday.
BJP leaders protesting near the Kumara Krupa Guest House in Bengaluru, and attempting to gherao the Chief Minister’s residence, were detained by the police.
